Principles

The multidimensional framework the method rests on, as its esoteric and homeopathic lineage teaches it, so the rules in the rest of this manual make sense.

The four-fold human being

The framework draws on Rudolf Steiner’s account of the human constitution in four members: the physical body, the etheric or formative-force body, the astral or emotional body, and the ego, the “I” or spiritual organisation. Each lower member is ordered by the one above it. Health, in this view, is the right relation among the four, and disease begins above the physical, in the subtler members, before it shows as matter.

1. The etheric matrix

The etheric body is the formative-force organisation that Steiner holds responsible for growth, cell differentiation, rhythm and vitality. It is the vital blueprint the physical body is built to. Hahnemann’s vital force (dynamis), prana and chi are the same ground under other names. A weakened etheric organisation means weak vitality; a preparation is aimed at restoring its coherence. This is why the method estimates vitality before choosing a volume.

2. The astral and mental plane

Emotion, shock, grief and unresolved trauma live in the astral body. In this teaching they register first as discordance in the person’s frequency pattern and only later precipitate into the etheric and physical as symptoms. Hence the order of recovery described below: mood, sleep and inner steadiness often move before the body does.

3. Vortex potentisation

Water is treated here as a structured, liquid-crystalline dipole medium that can carry a coherent vibrational signature, a view developed in the water-memory literature and in Viktor Schauberger’s work on vortex flow. The bottle is built to produce that flow: water enters the funnel, spirals through a round chamber and leaves by the side tube, a rhythmic vortex and implosion that dilutes the starting material while, on this account, imprinting its pattern on the carrier water. This is the same principle by which succussion potentises a homeopathic remedy.

4. Thermal purification

Walter Last’s biological medicine holds that a person’s own secretions carry both a pattern of information and gross material (protein, microbial forms) that can interfere with it. Boiling saliva or breath condensate is understood to remove that gross material, in the manner of a sterilised nosode, while leaving the frequency pattern. This is the rationale for every boiled method. It fits Last’s view of microbes as pleomorphic: organisms that change form with the condition of the terrain, so that stubborn organisms are a symptom of the host’s state as well as a cause. See Obstacles and the notes on constitutional detox.

5. Hering’s law of cure

Healing is held to move from the inside out: from the higher subtle bodies down toward the physical, from more important organs to less, from the top of the body downward, and in the reverse order of the symptoms’ original appearance. See Hering’s law below.

The vital force

The central idea comes from Samuel Hahnemann (1755 to 1843), who held that a non-material “vital force” or dynamis organises the living body. Čehovský equates it with prana in Indian tradition and chi in Chinese: “a kind of flow of information, which connects us with higher levels of being and on the material level creates our life energy, organises us and gives us harmony.” When it works well, outside influences (viruses, stress, pollutants) “cannot cause any problems, or only small ones”; when it is disturbed, illness follows. A forgotten method, Harmony from own saliva I

The founder’s image is a radio: the source broadcasts, the body receives, and an “out of tune” body hears the music “disturbed and weaker, with humming and cracking”. Illness is poor reception; the preparation is meant to retune the receiver. Preparation from prana

Resonance with your own information

Homeopathy matches a patient to a remedy whose “picture” resembles their symptoms. Autopathy skips that step: the person’s own breath or saliva carries their individual information, so “individualization is inherent”. The diluted preparation acts “on the basis of resonance” with the person’s own vital force. The founder’s 2026 comparison: homeopathy is “finding the right remedy”; autopathy is “working with one’s own information”. Homeopathic remedy or autopathic preparation?

Two practical rules follow:

  1. One person, one bottle. Another person’s information mixed in cancels the effect (“cross-contamination”).
  2. No one else’s breath or saliva near it. Anyone preparing for someone else wears a mask; no one else is present.

Potency: why more water is “stronger”

As in homeopathy, a more diluted preparation is treated as a higher, deeper-acting potency, not a weaker one. The aim is to reach the level “where the disturbance in the flow of subtle energy occurred”: below it the effect is partial, and above it the effect is “simply shorter and not so deep”. More about prana, High potencies

This is why the method starts low and climbs, and why it never drops back for a “small” complaint: “if you were successful with a high potency, we repeat it or increase it, but we never lower it.” Details are on Potency and Dosing.

Vitality

The starting volume depends on the person’s estimated vitality:

VitalityWho the literature places hereStarting volume
LowSerious disease of vital organs (liver, heart), severe depression or psychosis, the very old1 to 1.5 l
MiddleMost chronic cases3 l
StrongSuperficial complaints (eczema, joint pain), young and otherwise robust people6 l

Hering’s law

The literature judges progress by Hering’s law of cure, from nineteenth-century homeopathy: healing should move “from within out, from psyche to skin”, from top to bottom, and from more important organs to less important ones, with old complaints briefly returning in reverse order of their appearance. So in autopathic terms, mood and sleep improving while a rash flares is a good sign; a skin complaint clearing from the face downwards is “correctly” moving. Methods and strategies, Detoxication II. How to apply this is on Reading the response.

The memory of glass

The bottle retains the “information” of what has passed through it, even after it has drained. Hence three rules found in every instruction leaflet:

  • a bottle is never used for a second person;
  • a bottle in regular use is replaced at the latest three months after first use, or “the memory of the glass reduces the effect”;
  • after a large drop in potency (for example from 12 l to 6 l) a new bottle is used, “as the glass would retain the higher potency”. Detoxication II

The founder also uses separate bottles for prana and for bodily preparations, so that the prana bottle “must not be contaminated by physical information”. More about prana

Obstacles, sterilisation and “parasites”

From 2010 the founder argued that when progress stalls, a common obstacle is a microorganism (he names candida, chlamydia and toxoplasma) that has “adapted itself to the fine vibrational field” of its host. Saliva or breath containing live organisms, he reasons, does not help against them; killing them first (with alcohol, later by boiling) turns the preparation into “an individually prepared nosode”. This is the theory behind every boiled method. Autopathic detoxication

The chakras and prana

From 2012 the method draws on the yogic chakras. The seventh (crown) chakra is placed 15 to 25 cm above the head, “our individual fine-matter energetic sphere, which is connected with higher levels of the Universe”. Preparations “from prana” gather information there, by holding the bottle above the head, on the reasoning that it is “less contaminated” than information that has passed through the body. The sixth chakra, between the eyebrows, is where every preparation is applied, as “the highest bodily chakra”. Preparation from prana

Karma and individual course

The leaflets say the course after a dose “is not necessarily straightforward and is an individual matter according to the person’s inner, hidden (karmic) condition”. In practice, this is the method’s explanation for why identical protocols give different results in different people. Saliva instructions
