Dosing
Dosing strategies
How often to make the preparation, how long to watch before changing anything, and when to stop: the founder’s rules, with his own words where they matter.
Two basic strategies
Single dose, then wait and observe
One preparation, then nothing until its effect fades. The founder used this almost exclusively in the first years and still uses it:
- for people with strong vitality and a simple complaint “not suppressed too much by chemical medication” (his examples: an infant with light eczema or a cough, painful periods in a young woman, flu), usually 3 to 9 l;
- for high potencies, from 15 l and above, and for anyone who has reached a good, stable state;
- from 6 l upward in prana and boiled preparations.
When a complaint returns, perhaps years later, repeat “in the way which had preceded the long-term improvement”, usually at that volume or slightly higher. Methods and strategies; Step by step
Regular repetition
The founder described frequent repetition of lower potencies by February 2009, citing two inspirations: homeopathy’s LM potencies, which can be given daily, and the daily use of the kundika (Autopathic self-healing, 2009). By 2013 he recommended it “in almost all cases” at the start of a chronic course. His reasons: “It reduces the risk of antidoting and it often produces an increased pressure on the organism to produce changes.” He specifically recommends it when the person takes medication regularly. Step by step
How often
| Situation | Interval | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Rapidly worsening or life-threatening illness, severe acute illness | As often as possible, 2 to 3 times a day | Step by step |
| Acute fever or flu, lower vitality | 3 l every 2 hours, several times | Autopathy and flu |
| Low vitality, dynamic chronic disease, 1 l doses | Daily or every second day | Methods and strategies |
| Taking strong drugs | Daily, every second or every third day | Step by step |
| Most chronic cases | About weekly (“one week on average”), sometimes every 3 days | Methods and strategies |
| Slow, stable chronic problems of years’ standing | Every 14 days | Step by step |
| Clear improvement, old symptoms returning in reverse | Stretch to monthly, or stop and wait | Methods and strategies |
Fit the interval to how long a dose lasts. “Whenever during regular application we observe improvement, which does not stay the whole period until the next dose, we shorten the period so that relapse does not take place. For example, the positive effect ends on the fifth day and so we subsequently apply AD on every fourth day.” A slightly higher volume can also lengthen the effect.
How long to wait before changing anything
The founder’s 2026 rule: decide the minimum observation period before you start a given combination of volume, method and interval, and do not change any of them until it has passed.
| Period | Use it for |
|---|---|
| 1 to 5 days | Sudden conditions (cold, fever, injury, mental strain, insomnia, fatigue, food poisoning); acute flare of a chronic problem; long-term problems treated with prana; returning to a volume that worked before |
| 6 to 21 days | Most chronic conditions of body and mind, at high and middle vitality; some low-vitality children |
| 21 days or more | Serious long-term conditions (oncological, neurological, severe mental illness); people of low vitality with problems lasting decades; people over 75 with moderately serious chronic illness |
“The lower the vitality of the treated person is, and the longer his or her problems have lasted, the longer the period of observation… we must set.” The only reason to change early is a worsening of the whole person over several days that runs against Hering’s law, which he reads as no resonance at all, not as harm from the preparation. Observation period, 2026
His example: a woman of 60 had raced from 1.5 l to 8 l in under two weeks with no result. Set to 3 l every other day (boiled and unboiled breath alternated) for two weeks, then 4.5 l for two weeks, she noticed changes “only at the beginning of the fourth week”. After that she moved in half-litre steps.
What to do when progress stops
Following the founder’s sequence: Step by step; Methods and strategies
- Improvement that later stalls or slips back is the most common pattern, “very common even in the most successful cases”: the potency has stopped working. Increase it.
- A weak response in the first weeks: increase in steps (about 1.5 l below 9 l) after each observation period.
- No change in the whole person after several steps: change the form of preparation.
- Still nothing: check the procedure (see Obstacles), then look for an obstacle in the person’s life or surroundings.
Judge progress across the whole person: “we never focus on changes only in one organ, of one problem… the observance of the development has to concentrate on the person as a whole and include both body and the psyche.”
When to stop
“If with single or repeated application of autopathy significant health improvement or undisturbed health has been achieved, we change to the system wait and watch.” The person decides “according to his or her feelings”. Keep a spare bottle, and repeat at the volume that last worked when something returns.
A run of repeated doses can also be closed with one higher dose of unboiled breath, after which you wait. Methods and strategies
After stress, surgery, injury, vaccination or birth
The founder lists events that “can stop the working of the autopathic dilution”: “dental intervention, injury, surgery, ill-considered application of antibiotics, corticoids, critical life situations, and similar. When the case demonstrates signs of halting, or antidote effects, it is necessary to immediately repeat the autopathic application.” After childbirth, “the repetition of the previous potency soon after that is almost a must”.
